However, there are some writers who died in their early age, leaving us with their most precious written novels and book that will made them truly remembered. Lets commemorate our top 10 ten writers who died young.

Top 1 – Stephen Cranes

Crane is a well known writer for his wonderful short stories and poems loved by his readers. He did not finish college; instead he did a few jobs just to support his literary career. Crane died June 5, 1900 when he was 29.

Top 2 – Anne Brontë

Anne Brontë was born January 17, 1820. She was the writer who wrote Agnes Grey, a book loved by many. She also wrote poems with her sisters.  She left her teaching career to fulfill his passion for writing. Sadly he died due to tuberculosis when she was 29.

Top 3 – Denton Welch

Denton Welch was actually born in Shangai China and grew up there. He was not just a writer but a painter as well, these showed his truly inspiring artistic character. In Youth Is Pleasure and Maiden Voyage are his most famous literary works. He died at the age of 33.

Top 4 – Raymond Radiguet

1903 was the year a French author was born with the name Raymond Radiguet. This young man wrote Le Diable au corps just when he was just 17 years old, a proven talent in writing.  Too bad that this young man loved alcohol and died due to typhoid when he was just 20.

A Confederacy of Dunces made Toole well known, but not when he was still living as a writer. John Kennedy Toole killed himself in his young age.  His mother commemorated his death and made way to publish all his writings.

Top 6 – Thomas Chatterton

One of the writers who started the “Gothic”style, it is none other than Thomas Chatterton. Her style of writing reflected her bad childhood experience. She just stopped eating and died when she was 17.

He was a soldier and a writer; this is how Alain-Fournier was remembered by most people.  He wrote, Le Grand Meaulnes that was made into a film as a classic French literature.

This young man won a lot of award for his genius writing just when he was 15. Arthur Rimbaud influenced modern literature during his time. However, he gave his entire career in writings and lived in Africa where he died at the age of 37.
